AI transparency
as artistic practice
medienwerkstatt006 understands generative artificial intelligence as an experimental medium between reconstruction, simulation, hallucination, archive and speculative image production.
Labelling model
fully AI-generated Image, audio, video or text was substantially generated by a generative AI system and subsequently curated.
AI-modified Pre-existing human-created material was substantially altered with AI.
AI-assisted AI formed part of the artistic process; concept, selection, composition, editing and editorial responsibility remain human.
Artistic responsibility
All published content is selected, reviewed, contextualised and editorially supervised by a human. Labelling is intended to inform clearly without obstructing the presentation or enjoyment of the artworks.
EU AI Act
The implementation follows Article 50 of the EU AI Act and the European Commission's recommendations for visible, understandable and accessible disclosure of AI-generated or AI-manipulated content. Official information: EU icons and labelling of AI-generated content.
Notice
Labelling is a transparency measure and not a blanket claim of legal compliance. Project-specific disclosures take precedence and will be expanded progressively.
Labelling system
The labels distinguish AI-generated, AI-modified and generally AI-assisted artistic processes.
